I work at The Fort – shortcut for Fort Bonifacio Global City. It’s the fastest growing business district in the Philippines, many say. Malls, office buildings and residential condominiums are popping up inside the tiny district at a dizzying pace. People go there for the high end shops, restaurants and bars. There are jogging parks and Starbucks stores at every corner. Almost everyday there is an event there – a car display, a fun run, store sales.
But that’s not what I enjoy the most about working at The Fort. What I actually enjoy happens first thing in the morning every day – that is to drive around the area to look for new places to eat breakfast in (places aside from the usual McDonald’s and Jollibee). With so many call centers operating in the district, The Fort does not lack 24 hour restaurants that serve great food. So even when I arrive at The Fort before 7am there is always some place to try. Here are some photos of a 1-week breakfast adventure at The Fort:

Of course, when I can’t make up my mind on where to go there is always the good old McDonald’s and Jollibee stores just waiting to be rediscovered. Happy breakfast at The Fort!
