An Afternoon with Cats

Advertisements

After discovering a cat café in Singapore (see  post here), I’ve always wanted to  check on similar places in Manila.

I finally found time to visit one in Las Pinas. The brightly lit Le Cat Coffee Shop is a 2-year old establishment located on  the  2nd floor  of an office building and has more than 15 lovely cats to play with.

The shop offers a wide variety of coffee drinks along with some pastries (the latte was  pretty good), too. We actually found this place by accident while looking for an establishment in the South that accepts donations of Ecobricks (plastic bottles stuffed with plastic trash).

Unlike the cat cafe in Singapore, this one didn’t really share the back story of every cat but I still enjoyed spending time with the very friendly felines immensely.

Upon arriving, one already finds cats all over the order counters.
Rocket (the gray cat) is looking around while Sia (the white cat with dark forehead spot) is fast asleep.
Charlie the white cat comes out of a matching white box.
The big cat named Mochi is one of the friendliest cats.
An extremely grumpy-looking cat named Tammy.
Lulu the pretty light gray cat likes her pillow.
Pancho at play
This is the cat I wanted to take home.
The cat names are posted on several walls.

Cat treats for sale.

Me with the fluffy cat named Caramel.

This place is worth a visit! The Le Cat Café opens 4 pm to 9 pm Tuesdays to Fridays and 2 pm to 9 pm on weekends and is located at Vatican City Drive, Las Pinas.
